Introducing the HWA Logo: A Symbol of Identity and Heritage The HWA logo is a thoughtful fusion of the letters “HWA,” the Chinese character “華,” and traditional Chinese design elements.
This logo uses a bold red to symbolize luck, joy, and cultural pride. The dark teal adds modernity and stability, while the light grey brings balance and elegance. Together, the colors blend tradition with a contemporary look, reflecting both heritage and forward-thinking identity.
And the logo also incorporates two symbolic motifs rooted in Chinese heritage:
水波纹 (Water Ripple Pattern): A traditional Chinese design symbolizing fluidity, vitality, and harmony. It reflects the ever-evolving nature of education, the flow of knowledge, and the dynamic energy of life and learning.
回纹 (Repeating Motif): Another classical Chinese symbol representing continuity, resilience, and the endless cycle of growth. It captures the idea of perseverance and the school’s mission to cultivate lifelong learners.
