Teaching duties

  • Teach classes (25 periods per week)
  • Demonstrate through collaboration, planning and teaching, the IB and PYP framework of concepts within contexts, and inquiry-based learning that is balanced with specific skills of 'how to learn', leading learning towards the IB vision and the aims of individual subject areas and that incorporates interdisciplinary teaching and learning
  • Work and collaborate with Student Support Department to enrich curriculum and student learning

Non-teaching duties

  • Understand and implement the expectations and policies established by HWA

Job Descriptions:

  • Provide technical advice and sourcing of purchase of computer hardware, software
    and IT-related accessories
  • Management & maintenance of IT/AVA resources & system
  • Day-to-day IT operations including backup, system security, technical troubleshooting
    of IT systems/resources & software
  • Responsible for IT inventory stocks, condemnation of equipment & liaising with
    vendors for purchase & repairs
  • Plan, evaluate & implement IT related projects (e.g. IT Enrichment Training, IT Camps,
    Training for CCA, AVA training for AV / IT monitors and staff) If applicable.
  • Work with Estate & Resource Manager on gathering the ICT needs of the school and
    propose solutions that meet the requirements of the school including technical
    specifications and market pricing of these solutions
  • Conduct ICT training during and outside curriculum time for both teachers and
  • Work with other 3rd parties / in-house ICT Trainer and any other ICT support staff in
    the school.
  • Data management - responsible for creating and maintaining a system for archiving
    school digital information
  • Other tasks include proactively scanning the market for technology trends and new technology tools that support Teaching and Learning and, educate and update school staff. A point of contact for dissemination and coordination of ICT project-related
    matters for schools.

  • Diploma with minimum 3 years of relevant ICT experience

Job Descriptions:

Supplies Management

  • Collaborate with other Department Head/Coordinators to determine supply needs;
  • Purchase supplies and materials according to Purchase Requisition Form (PRF) approved by the School;
  • Control inventory levels and ensure availability of materials;
  • Maintain relationships and negotiate with suppliers;
  • Keep detailed records of procurement activity, materials quantity etc; 
  • Assist in forecasting to plan future orders.

Facilities Maintenance

  • Lead and monitor the external vendors on the day-to-day operations of facilities maintenance services and other assigned areas; 
  • Managing budget and cost effectiveness of operations;
  • Periodical performance evaluation of external vendors through on-site audits and management review meetings; 
  • Management, analysis and follow up of all request and feedbacks that are raised by the staff and students; 
  • Coordinate and liaise with vendors and government bodies on matters pertaining to the facility’s operational needs and requirements.

Security Management

  • Responsible for ensuring compliance of all safeguarding policies, especially with external vendors management; 
  • Conduct regular security management review with vendors, to establish standards of achievement and areas of improvement; 
  • Conduct investigations and reports of all noted incidents, hazards and accidents in and around the school premise; 
  • Conduct proactive review on security industry best practices, followed by improvement and enhancement of security procedures.

Fire Safety Management

  • Conduct periodical review and amendments to School Emergency Response plan;
  • Ensure the school premise is fire safe at all times;
  • Plan, propose and coordinate Fire Safety Training for the School such as Fire Drill Exercise, Fire Safety Awareness Talks etc.


  • Bachelor’s degree/Diploma, Property Development/Real Estate Management or equivalent;
  • 3 to 5 years experience in the related field; 
  • Good communication, interpersonal and organization skills;
  • A team leader who is able to work with customers and multi-tasked.

Student Support

  • Respond to all enquiries (email, telephone and walk in) providing advice when necessary to prospective parents, ensure that the school provides all applicants with the relevant and accurate information;
  • Assist the Senior Manager with all matters relating to student admissions, including student contract, student pass application, insurance coverage, etc;
  • Keep prospective pupil files up-to-date;
  • Work with internal departments to ensure the smooth transition of student transfer;
  • Responsible for maintaining the admission database for the school management review;
  • Work closely with Finance on all matters pertaining to the fee payment, such as student tuition fee, agent commission, etc and ensure the correct procedure is followed;
  • Collaborate with the team to conduct student surveys, collate data and produce a report for trend analysis.
  • Participate in the school committees and events as and when required;
  • Any other duties commensurate with the nature of the job, as determined by the school.


  • Plan and organise all the school tours by prospective parents, including staff liaison and all related matters;
  • Negotiate contracts with agent and to promote and market the school, establish distribution networks and develop distribution strategies;
  • Produce slides and seminar materials for marketing events;
  • Produce brochures and marketing materials for management approval;
  • Organise, coordinate and participate in local/overseas promotional activities and open house, work with internal school departments, agents, parents to market products and services.


  • 2-3 years of work experience in the educational industry;
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in a relevant field;
  • Team player with positive, cheerful, helpful work attitude and initiative;
  • Capable of independent and committed effort, with good organisation & interpersonal skills;
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office is a must;
  • Possess good written and spoken communication skills;
