Recently, our students had the fantastic opportunity to join the Sports Carnival organized by the Singapore Recreation Club, held close to our MSQ City Campus. At HWA International School, we not only encourage students to actively engage in the community but also nurture IB values such as teamwork, balanced living, and open-mindedness.

Our dedicated teachers and students participated in a variety of sports and fitness activities, including aerobics, softball, table tennis, pickleball, and Zumba. This event wasn’t just about physical activity; it was a chance for students to apply their IB learning in real-world settings, developing essential life skills beyond the classroom.

We were also honored to share the experience with the Senior Minister of State from the Prime Minister’s Office, making it a memorable day for everyone involved. This carnival allowed our students to embody the spirit of IB education, build lasting connections, and engage with Singapore’s vibrant community.
