In our Primary School (Grade 1–6, IB PYP), children cultivate curiosity, build character, and develop the skills to thrive in a supportive bilingual environment, laying a strong foundation for lifelong learning.
Our Primary Years Programme (IB PYP) moves beyond traditional subject boundaries to empower students as active, caring participants in their own learning journey. We challenge students to think critically and work collaboratively as they explore significant concepts, ensuring they not only acquire knowledge but also learn how to learn.
The IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) is a globally recognized, future-focused curriculum designed for students aged 3-12. It focuses on the development of the whole child as an inquirer, both in the classroom and in the world outside. The PYP prepares students to be active, caring, lifelong learners who demonstrate respect for themselves and others.

Curiosity drives exploration. Students lead their learning journey by asking questions, investigating concepts, and making meaningful connections across subjects.

Children grow into caring, principled, and open-minded individuals, developing strong character and international-mindedness.

Students develop crucial research, thinking, communication, and self-management skills that serve them in school and beyond.
Our curriculum integrates subjects through engaging, real-world themes that help students see connections between their learning and life around them:
Who We Are
Where We Are in Place and Time
How We Express Ourselves
How the World Works
How We Organize Ourselves
Sharing the Planet

The IB PYP Subjects Covered:
English Language
Chinese Language
Chinese Culture
Mathematics
Science
Unit of Inquiry
Arts (Music & Visual Arts)
Personal, Social and Physical Education
Students benefit from our immersive bilingual environment with compulsory English, Chinese language, and Chinese culture studies, developing valuable language skills and cultural appreciation.
For AY2025–26, the teacher–student ratio for full-time students will remain below 1:6, ensuring that each child receives individual attention and tailored support to thrive academically and socially.
Students enjoy a continuous educational journey from PYP through MYP to IB Diploma, ensuring consistency and building upon learning each year.
Our IB-trained teachers build strong, supportive relationships that unlock each child's potential and love for learning.
Character and wellbeing are woven into daily school life, helping students develop integrity, empathy, and social responsibility.
Assessment is an important part of each UoI as it both enhances learning and provides opportunities for students to reflect on what they know, understand, and can do. The teachers give feedback, which in turn guides our students to become more capable and independent learners.
We use multiple methods to track development:
Ongoing observation and feedback
Portfolio collections
Progress reports
Parent-teacher collaboration
Upon completion of the program, students receive a Primary 6 Program completion certificate, recognizing their achievements and readiness for further education.
