The summer school program at HWA International School is based on the International Baccalaureate curriculum and revolves around six interdisciplinary themes, including “Who We Are”, “Time 5nd Space”, “Expressing Ourselves”, “How the World Works”, “How We Organize Ourselves” and “Sharing the Planet”. These themes cover fields such as language, mathematics, science, sociology, art, political science, and economics, with the aim of fostering students’ critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

HWA International School is an IB international school in Singapore, covering kindergarten to pre-university. To enable students from around the world to experience HWA’s unique bilingual and bicultural teaching environment

, the school offers short-term summer school programs. HWA adopts an education model that is compatible with both Eastern and Western cultures, setting it apart in Singapore’s international education scene.

In our summer school, your child will have the opportunity to explore their self, family, community, and cultural identity, understand the development of human history and culture, learn various ways of expressing themselves, investigate the workings of the natural and human world, learn methods of social organization, management, and leadership, and understand how to be a responsible citizen, how to protect our planet, and how to propose solutions.

We have experienced and dedicated teachers who will guide students through a series of activities, promoting critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork. Let your child make new friends, explore new subjects, learn new skills, and become a more well-rounded individual in a fun and supportive environment.

A day in their school life. Join us going through a day in the life of a HWA student.
