At HWA International School, learning goes beyond textbooks and traditional classroom instruction. Through hands-on STEM activities, students have opportunities to explore scientific concepts, investigate how things work, and connect classroom learning with real-world applications.
From observing scientific demonstrations to building simple models and conducting experiments, students learn to ask questions, make observations, and discover new knowledge through exploration.
During the STEM activities, students explored a range of fascinating scientific experiments, including acid-base testing, osmosis in potatoes, electrolysis, electromagnetic induction, and how periscopes work. By carrying out experiments and observing changes firsthand, students were able to experience abstract scientific concepts in a more tangible and engaging way.
Each surprising discovery sparked excitement and encouraged students to ask questions and think independently. Every observation and question became another step towards exploration and discovery.
These activities encouraged students to look beyond the phenomena they observed and think more deeply about the scientific principles behind them.
At HWA International School, hands-on STEM activities provide students with opportunities to explore ideas, investigate scientific phenomena, and engage in meaningful learning experiences.
By encouraging curiosity, observation, and experimentation, these activities help students gradually develop the skills and confidence needed to approach new questions and challenges.
Through continuous exploration, students discover that science is not simply a subject to study, but a field to question, investigate, and experience firsthand.
