Recently, HWA International School welcomed students and teachers from Po Leung Kuk Wong Wing Shu Primary School in Hong Kong for a campus visit and a Edutalk lecture centred on the philosophy of IB education.

The session was led by HWA teacher Nelson and focused on the IB curriculum framework, classroom practices, and inquiry-based learning approaches. Through the sharing of authentic classroom examples and interactive discussions, students experienced first-hand how IB education encourages learners to ask questions, think about the world, and develop independent thinking and a global perspective through learning.

Throughout the exchange, students participated actively in discussions, while teachers engaged in in-depth conversations on curriculum design and pedagogical. This visit not only deepened mutual understanding of IB education but also established a strong platform for ongoing communication and collaboration between the two schools.
