HWA International School celebrated Mid-Autumn Festival on Friday, 17 September 2021, in line with our vision of intercultural perspectives and our mission of encouraging the formation of international–mindedness.
The School Events committee had prepared a variety of games for students to play on the day of celebration. Many of the games are relevant to the theme of Mid-Autumn Festival such as Riddle Guessing, Lantern Making, Shooting the Nine Suns, and Catching the Shooting Star. Through these activities, the students not only learned about and appreciated the Chinese culture and traditions but also developed open-mindedness – one of IB Learner Profile attributes. They will remember this special celebration together with their schoolmates and teachers.
