On 14th August 2020, HWA students gathered at the Multi-Purpose Hall for our annual Co-Curricular Activity Open House. As part of HWA’s vision to encourage students to discover and develop their interests and talents through CCA, our teachers have showcased more than 10 exciting clubs for students to participate in. They include the Kids Dance Fitness Club, Heritage Club, Badminton Club, Art Club, Choir.
In this year’s open house, the various CCA booths provided fun and engaging hands-on activities for students to try out. We saw students putting on their dancing shoes and moving to the beat with the Kids Dance Fitness Club, while many students were drawn to the Computer Club for its creativity in Scratch drawing.
Principal Mr. Shi was also present during the open house to participate in some activities with the students. He gave some suggestions to help the students in their choice of the CCA. As HWA considers CCA as an integral part of a student’s holistic education, we hope that they are able to foster social bonds, build perseverance and grow in responsibility to the school and community.
